Loud, glitter-soaked, and unapologetically raw, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is a genre-defying rock musical about identity, heartbreak, and the messy, human search for wholeness.
This production features three performers rotating through the roles each night (billed as the Sun Cast, Moon Cast, and Earth Cast), shattering the idea of a single Hedwig and revealing something deeper: this story isn’t owned by one voice—it lives in all of us.
Part rock concert, part confession, Hedwig takes the stage to tell her story—of East Berlin, a botched surgery, and a love that split her wide open. Driven by a live band and iconic anthems like “The Origin of Love” and “Midnight Radio,” the show is fierce, funny, and emotionally unfiltered.
JK Entertainment will donate $1 of every ticket sold to The Trevor Project, honoring the show’s legacy and investing in a future where every identity is seen, valued, and free.
A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Hedwig is a gorgeous yet brutally honest retelling of an ancient myth about painful heartbreak and the human need to find wholeness, acceptance and companionship. The title character is an “exposed nerve”... vulnerable and expressive and sometimes even volatile for feeling so exposed and injured. Hedwig’s bold sense of humor and her eccentric “head-wigs” are her only cover. The moment that she finally feels torn down on her own terms is the moment that she learns to truly love and accept not only herself, but also the wild cards and the misfortune that she was dealt with in her life. I love these characters and the way they act as reflections of each other.

JK Entertainment’s cast for HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH casts were labeled the Children of the Sun Cast, Children of the Earth Cast, and Children of the Moon Cast; named from the hit song ‘Origin of Love’. The shows rotated through each cast in that order. The Sun Cast featured Kyle Reid Hass as Hedwig, Sage Reid Priest as Yitzhak, and Zo as Tommy Gnosis. The Earth Cast featured Sage Reid Priest as Hedwig, Zo as Yitzhak, and Kyle Reid Hass as Tommy Gnosis. And the Moon Cast featured Zo as Hedwig, Kyle Reid Hass as Yitzhak, and Sage Reid Priest as Tommy Gnosis. The show also featured Hailey Hance as the unpronounceable Skszp and understudy for Tommy Gnosis.
HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH was directed by Arlo Kiss, music directed by Jonathan James, and produced by Olivia Kaye Da Silva with lighting design by Kyle Reid Hass, sound design by Michael, stage management by Hope Melody, and Assistant Stage Management by Ellery Overstreet.
